French ceramic makers were incredibly creative when it came to making toy dish sets for children. Rather than produce small pieces with adult designs, the makers produced an incredible number of designs/motifs always with colorful images that would appeal to children. These three plates are from the same dinner service; we have a teddy bear, a Scottie dog and a terrier. They are not marked with the maker's name but most likely were by Creil Montereau. They were made between the 1930's and 1960's.

 All three are in excellent condition.
