Revisiting the pedal that got me started, the Fuzz Without a face is my take on the classic Fuzz Face with a few modern conveniences and mild improvements to keep the original vibe with a tone that will not get lost in a mix. #36 features NTE123 transistors, a 1.0uf input cap, and a .047uf output cap.

- NTE123 is one of the transistors used in some of Stevie Ray Vaughan's Fuzz Faces when they were tired of dealing with the temperature differences from one stage to the next wreaking havoc with the vintage devices. His amp tech started building hybrid germanium and eventually full silicon versions. The NTE 123 is a silicon device, but it's gain(hfe) is closer to typical germanium and this is why they sound similar and have awesome cleanup like their tempermental counterparts without being so susceptible to temperature changes.

-3PDT true bypass switching, LED indicator, DC power input.

-High quality Alpha pots and Neutrik jacks.

- Also available with ASY, 2N, 3AX31, and ASX12 germanium and BC108 and BC183 silicon, just message me with any requests.

I guarantee my workmanship for life and will repair any pedal that fails due to faults in construction. I started Fuzz Without a Face to build boutique grade pedals at budget prices, by skipping out on artwork and screen printing and putting that money towards the best parts I can find.

Thanks,

Pete
