Original Nintendo Game Boy - DMG-01 - Cleaned Tested/Working

NOTE: I'm relisting this because the zero feedback buyer who won the auction did not pay or respond. Please, no zero feedback buyers. This is my first experience with that, but if you bid with zero feedback then I'm just going to cancel it. I'm sorry about that.

As part of auctioning off all of my childhood games and systems, here's my own original Gameboy. I went ahead and followed some online instructions on how to disassemble and clean this guy; I've included pictures of the steps along the way so you can see the individual pieces after they were washed and scrubbed. I used an orangewood stick to remove the residue from the old screen glue after soaking the pieces in warm water, that actually worked quite well.

Since the screen cover is a bit scratched up and I have learned about replacement screens, I didn't want to reattach the cover with glue (or anything permanent), so I cut thin strips of 3M double-sided tape to attach the cover. You should be able to remove the screen cover and tape easily enough if you want to replace it. I've included my best attempt at a photograph of the taped area before applying the cover.

Thankfully, I still had a game sitting around in another Gameboy that a friend gave me, so I was able to test this one, but the game is NOT included in the auction. (I still need it to test the remaining unit I have).

Also, the sound works fine, I could hear the theme song and sound effects. I did not see any lines or other problems with the screen (I just learned about those too).

Please let me know if you have any questions!

NOTE: This is from a non-smoking household and was never stored outdoors (like in a garage or anything like that), no weird smells.
