CONDITION THRESHOLDS
-DMG: major creases, bends that render the card unplayable. Deep scratches
-HP: major creases, bends that don't affect the card's integrity too much (the card is still relatively flat, card is fully intact)
-MP: light scratches/minimal all across the card's surface. some whitening on the edges, mildly worn corners. Only really noticable if you observe under a light at an angle. No major bends, maybe minor creases
-LP: some light scratches, wearing on corners is not really noticable or nonexistent
-VLP: Few light scratches, pristine corners
-NM: 2-0 light scratches. pristine corners
Just as a disclaimer, I am not perfect at assessing conditions, as i've never submitted to PSA. VLP-NM is a very thin margin, so if im not certain to what degree near-microscopic wear, or very subtle scratches knock down the card's grade, i will label the condition as VLP/NM. But if i'm certain something is mint, I will specify. The range around the LP threshold a grey area for me as well, so I will sometimes assess a card as MP/LP if it has many scratches but looks relatively "clean". The criteria for HP-DMG is much more concrete, since all it takes is a major bend or crease to knock it down towards that range
