 Up for sale is a Vintage “City Center Joffrey Ballet” Showbill Program! This is an August 1968 program from the Garden State Arts Center in Holmdel, NJ. The program is from an early performance of the classic Robert Joffrey ballet company and includes the programs for their August 26, 1968 to August 31, 1968 performances. The shows featured choreography by founders Robert Joffrey and Gerald Arpino with dancers Charthel Arthur, Lisa Bradley, Diana Cartier, Christian Holder, Barbara Remington, Brunilda Ruiz, Paul Sutherland, Robert Talmadge, Rebecca Wright, Maximiliano Zomosa, and several others. The program is also a rare Premiere Season 1968 edition from the Garden State Arts Center which had just opened in June 1968. As shown in the photos, this vintage program is in very good condition for its age with some cover wear and light soiling, including a light cover fold. The Playbill is complete and remains securely stapled from its cover to its centerfold. It has nice clean pages with no writing, creases, rips, or tears. This vintage Joffrey Ballet program would make a great addition to your collection!
