Vic Johnson was a sports cartoonist for the Boston Herald in the 1950s and 1960s. This is an original drawing - Subject: Baseball fans comparing a trip to the park and watching the game on television. This drawing is beautiful in a funny way, with details that include hand-drawn letters. His original work is a unique item and would be perfect to frame and display. If you’re a fan of baseball and / or cartoon art, this is the item for you. There are some pencil notes that I assume are Vic Johnson’s writing or notes of someone at the Herald. Title is written in pencil: Laborious Day? Signed at the Bottom right with a circle around it. Size: 15" x 11-1/2” thick stock paper. See photos for condition.
