Pair of Mid Century Art Deco White Horse Head Modern Bookends by Abingdon Potteries. 

Circa 1940s.

Beautiful designed horse heads bookends in glossy creamy white glaze which were produced from 1938 through 1950. Stamped on bottom in ink with the ABINGDON USA in a rectangle on the fired white clay.

These weigh about 6 lbs together, so they are strong enough to hold books.
Measurements: 3 3/8 inches wide x 6 inches deep x 6 1/2 inches high.
Condition: Good Pre-Owned Condition. Minor wear consistent with age and use.

These have felt on the bottom for use on your bookshelves. The Abingdon marker is underneath the felt.

These are a great gift for any horse enthusiast or for yourself.
