In this listing we have a really lovely doll outfit. This outfit was released by Mattel as part of the Barbie Extra line. This outfit came with #11. This is the doll’s full outfit, but the top has been switched out to a Superman top, but everything else is from the Barbie Extra doll. This outfit consists of a black mesh shirt with a solid black panel at the chest with the Superman logo in pink and pink surging at the neck, bottom hem, and sleeves, a pair of black pleather pants with printed on lace details running up the legs, a purple faux fur stole, a pair of clear purple plastic sneakers, a green plastic purse designed to look like a cereal box with a handle so the doll can hold it, a white plastic bead bracelet, and a silver plastic chrome bracelet, a pair of black plastic sunglasses with white painted details along the top, a silver plastic chain style bracelet, a silver chrome plastic necklace, and a silver plastic tiara. This outfit is designed for dolls with the “Original” body and will fit similar sized dolls. The shoes are for “original” or “petite” dolls with the flat feet. The shirt and the pants close in the back with Velcro, the shoes have a slit in the back to help them go on the doll’s feet, the necklace is open in the back, and there’s some molded on posts at the back of the tiara to help keep it on the doll’s head (but was sewn to the doll’s head originally). This outfit was made in Indonesia. My pictures came out a little saturated, the colors are a bit more muted in person.

This outfit is in good shape. It has never been played with and was just removed from the box. Overall it’s in good shape, but does have some factory issues. The shirt is in good shape. It does have some excess threads at the back where the Velcro is sewn on and at the side seams from the arm holes. The top and bottom of the solid panel at the chest is unhemmed. Some of the edges were cut out a little sloppy. The fabric is a white background with the colors printed on top. The white fabric is visible along the edge at the top and bottom of the panel. The surging looks good. In a few spots, the threads are a little spaced out and you can see the actual fabric of the top peeking through the surging in a few spots. The surging at the bottom hem and the sleeves are a little stretched out, but I think that’s intentional. The side seams at the sleeves are a little uneven with one side a little longer than the other. The pants look good. They do have excess threads at the back where the Velcro is sewn on and at the cuffs from the bottom of the pants. These pants are a little wrinkled from how they were posed in the box, hopefully this eases out in time. At the cuffs at the bottom of the pants there is some of the inside hem visible at the bottom of the cuffs. I will mention that this fabric will degrade over time. Over time the fabric will crack and peel. It’s just the nature of the fabric. I would be careful stretching the fabric since that could cause cracks to form and degrade faster. There might be some small cracks at the cuffs from where it was held in the package, but it could just be some small wrinkles from where it was held in the box. I am writing this listing on 9/27/2022 so if someone would like me to check the pants before bidding, please let me know. The side seams at the pant legs are a little uneven with one side a little longer than the other. The stole is in good shape. The fur is a little wild. It’s also a bit dry feeling, but I think that’s just the fur itself. At the top where the fur is standing up, you can see some spots of the underside of the fur through the fur. There is a large seam going through the bottom of the stole. It’s mostly covered, but if you look for it, you can see it. The shoes are in good shape. They do have seam lines and mold injection spots. When you look closely at the shoes they do have some small molding flaws here and there, but they are pretty minor. Along some of the seam lines they do have some excess plastic in a few spots, but they are pretty minor. On one of the toes on a shoe it has a very see through section of plastic. The other toe has a more opaque color. The bracelets, necklace, and tiara looks good. They do have seam lines and mold injection spot, but they all will have that. For all of the chrome pieces they have a couple small spots of missing chrome. That’s where they held them when they added the chrome and they all will have those. Some of the chrome pieces have some slightly sharp edges along some of the seams. It isn’t sharp, but could snag clothing or hair. The purse looks good. It also has seam lines and mold injection spots. It does have some molded in lines to the purse, these are most obvious at the back of the plastic. The handle is a little warped and it’s a slightly harder plastic so it might be hard to put on a doll’s hand. The printing on the front is good. It’s slightly crooked and the printing is a little spotty. The sunglasses look good. They do have seam lines and mold injection spots. Along some of the seam lines it does have some excess plastic in a few spots that shouldn’t be there. This might snag doll hair. The painting on the front is a little sloppy. It’s very nice, just not perfect. On the front of the frame when you look closely at it there’s some small bumps to the plastic. It’s very minor, but you can see them when looking up close. Please examine all pictures to see the exact condition of this outfit and please keep in mind some issues are more visible in person compared to pictures.
