This item was used as a display piece, so it isn't "new", but it is in "like new" condition. 

There are no cracks, chips, stains, or broken pieces. 

This piece is very large, so if the shipping charge seems high, it is because the box will be large to accommodate the packing material to keep it safe and it will be double boxed to prevent damage. I probably go overboard, but I feel it's necessary to ensure you receive your item safely.
