The World of Michelangelo, by Robert Coughlan, was published in 1966 as part of the Time-Life Library of Art. The oversized hardcover book is quarter-bound in red leather, with gilt titling on the spine and black titling on the cover. The slip case features a full color detail of Isaiah, from the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. 

202 pages in length, it covers the life and works of the renowned Italian artist Michelangelo, and includes numerous high-quality reproductions of his masterpieces, in color and black & white. 

Both the book and the slip case are in excellent condition, unmarked and undamaged. There are minimal signs of wear, and some smudging or fingerprints on the cover of the book.
