I am offering for sale my antique rare and early engraving entitled

 " Hare Hunting "

A steel engraving by J R Scott (1774-1827)  from the drawing by the renowned John Woodward. Later hand coloured.

A particularly rare image, almost certainly once a book plate, and likely dating to around 1800-1810. I will add further should my investigations prove successful

The frame measures 27 cm by 23.5 cm

The Georgian engraving in good condition with just the paper slightly soiled with age after it's 200 years. In a later frame which is useable but tired.

 I try and list any obvious defect I find, but not wear and tear consistent with it's age and usage, so please study the images.
