So where on earth do you see another be different in a classic that doesn't cost the earth ,a 1974 Mk1 Marina its a 1.8 Super Deluxe, she's a fantastic old girl to see and drives way better than I could ever imagine, the smell just takes you back ,my grandad had one as I suppose many of us were the same , she starts on the button and the engine is stupidly quiet and smooth for a 50 year old car, all gears select as they should ,everything works as it should too ,the interior is something else all original the seats are about as good as you can get I imagine ,Headlining and carpets are amazing and it still retains its original Marina rubber mats and mudflaps ,chrome is all good and the wheels have obviously been changed and have very decent rubber looking almost new
Free from modern interferences just you and the road
She's absolutely lovely but not perfect (were they ever) ,will have had some paint throughout its life but looks really smart and has held up really well
A previous owner has been in touch who documented it coming out of a barn and what he did to refresh the old girl ,
he's been kind enough to allow us to share his link https://<a>www.facebook.com/ben.clayton.188<;/a>
