Vintage Women's Fur Cape Black Morton’s Washington D.C. Unique

I am selling this for a friend who found it in her late mother-in-laws home, which in turn, belonged to her mother-in-laws mother as was told to her. That is why I am guessing this cape could have been from the 1950's-60's. The cape has large shoulders with padding. Morton's was a popular store in D.C. and opened in 1933 and began closing his stores in 1983. The cape has a beautiful satin lining which is in very good condition. The fur is very soft, plush and silky. I am not a furrier, I am acquainted with what mink looks and feels like, that's about it, but was told this is possibly rabbit fur. Sorry about the color of the last two photos as I took them in front of a bathroom mirror under the mirror light. I just wanted to show where the hand/arm slits are in the cape. The length of the cape is approximately 29" (photo) and the width of the shoulders are in a photo as I wasn't sure where to measure due to the roundness of the shoulders. The cape weighs 2 pounds 12 ounces WITHOUT bagging/boxing and the cost of shipping will reflect that fact. Unfortunately, the rising cost of shipping is on all of us!    I ship to the United States only!    Thank you for reading the long description.
