You are buying a pair of generic replacement silk dome tweeter coils (as seen on these pictures) to fit the Celestion HF2000 - HF2001 Tweeter.

We have opted for a Silk Dome Tweeter Coil that we believe looks about as close to the original finish but without using the original metal tweeter guard. More often than not the metal guards are missing as they will of come off & been lost many years ago.

The Celestion HF2000 - HF2001 Tweeter was used in the Following Models. Celestion Ditton 25, Celestion Ditton 44, Celestion Ditton 66, Celestion Ditton 44 II, Celestion Ditton 66 II, Celestion Ditton 332, Celestion Ditton 442, Celestion Ditton 662, Celestion UL10, IMF TLS80, B&O Beovox 17100, B&O Beovox 17100.2, B&O Beovox 5700, B&O Beovox 5702, Mission 730, Gale 401, Gale 401A, Gale 401B, Gale 401C + Many Other Loudspeakers.

Most used 8 Ohm Tweeters, but not all, a few used 4 Ohm Tweeters.

We have both in stock, you will need to remove your old tweeter, it should have a very small mark saying either 4Ω or 8Ω written on it somewhere.

If you then do a Search for your Loudspeaker Model, lets say its a "celestion ditton 44 replacement tweeter coil" the listings for both 4Ω & 8Ω will be shown for you.

If your old tweeters do not have an Ohms Sticker on them, they please email us, showing close up & clear pictures of it, we will do our best to advise on the most likely ones that would of been fitted.

Always fit in pairs, that way they will look exactly the same & they will also sound exactly the same.

They are a very good replacement for your old blown or dented tweeters.

Fitting Information: Please take your time in working out the fitting of these.

You will need the following tools to fit these.

Philips screwdrivers (small - medium head)

Flathead screwdrivers (small - medium head)

A very sharp knife edge.

A soldering iron & solder.

Some superglug & a cotton bud.

Be careful to make sure you cover the bare wires or they will touch the Metal of the Tweeter Casing, maybe you could use some Shrink Wrap Tubing to do the job ?

Failing that maybe some Candle Wax Dripped into place ?

You will need a steady hand, a fair degree of common sense (like do not glue into place until you have made sure it fits together correctly) & about an hour or so of spare time when fitting these.

REMEMBER, THEY ARE VERY DELICATE, NO RETURNS ON ANY COILS - FOILS THAT YOU DAMAGE WHILST FITTING THEM.
