8&5/8" x 6" hardcover, two hundred forty-three pages followed by two eided page on the author. Second impression of the 1962 hardcover edition of this classic that would later become the well known film. Spine has some dark grey blemising-staining (see pic), if you look at pic 7 very closely you can make out very mild staining at left and lower left corner and small dent along edge in foreground. On page following endpapers at upper right corner is name signed by previous owner with year written below it. Binding is very good, no endpaper splitting at seams, no loose or ripped pages, no writing (except where stated previously), not ex-library but does have a stamping to "return to Greenblatts" see (pic). At very close range (with nose touching pages) I detect slight mustiness which may or may not be my imagination. From a smoke-free, pet-free home, message me any questions, thank you for your interest.
