Antique Indo-Persian 900 Silver All-over Repoussé
Table or Trinket Box 89.3g
This is a round silver box from the Indo-Persia
region that looks to date to around the late 19th century through
early 1900s. It is not marked; tests confirm it is a minimum of 900 for it near
sterling fineness.
It is round in shape with a flat base and a push on
dome top. It has an all-over hand repoussé decoration of traditional patterns
and pretty flowers. It is designed as a table box or to hold precious trinket
on a lady’s vanity table.
We have listed other pieces of collectable silver,
jewellery and watches this week, please refer to our other listings.
The box is in good antique condition, no faults or
damage to report, some minor age wear, and a warm patina. The pictures are part
of the description and condition report.
Measure: H 6.5cm x 8.45cm maximum diameter; 89.3g.
Please look at all the pictures, they are a really important part of the description and condition report.
