This ca.1904 threaded crystal match holder/strike of excellent form boasts an embossed sterling silver collar in the Art Nouveau style bearing hallmarks for Chester, England 1904 with the maker's mark of John and William Deakin. It measures 3 1/2" tall x 3 3/8" (base) with 2" diameter ball top. The collar is loose and there are scattered infinitesimal nicks (from use) to the threading and about the polished crystal base.
