* This Model does NOT use any batteries ! Power is obtained from a 90 FARAD capacitor. The capacitor can be charged / discharged a million times from ANY standard 5 Volt USB power source. The best of rechargeable batteries are good for 1000 times. There is no need to remove the cover lid as there are no user serviceable parts inside the box. Expected usable time of a fully charged Capacitor is dependent on the amplitude setting and the user's skin resistance, but is expected to be approximately one hour.
