This handmade knife is truly a beautiful piece. The detailed decorative touches to the backbone, the solid brass liners, as well as the scales demonstrates the creativity and skill of the maker. Some items say they’re “handmade” because someone did something minimal like polish it by hand or something. Every aspect of this knife reveals the imperfections that only come from fully handmade work. Not just beautiful, it features a razor-sharp blade made of Damascus steel, folded 8 times to create 512 true layers. The blade is incredibly thick, measuring 4mm in thickness, with a drop point design and a sharp edge. The handle is made of jigged bone and has excellent heat treatment, with oil quenched to increase its hardness, ensuring that it lasts for years.

Another of my personal collection knives that I have to re-home. This is an iPak knife, but was unbranded by them as they produced these for another brand. These were graded as defective in some way and that’s why they didn’t get picked up by the brand that ordered them originally. I have three of these up for auction, and I am not sure what the problem was with any of them. They’re all hand-made, so they have imperfections, but that’s what I love about them. They function perfectly. The Damascus steel is gorgeous, as is everything aspect of this knife. Each comes with a hand-made leather belt sheath that was custom cut for this exact knife. The leather is very thick and will last forever. This blade is never sharpened and never carried.

I need to re-home this beautiful blend of wood and steel. It will look great in your collection, or on your belt if you want a great carry blade. Let me know if you have any questions, and see my other listings for the other knives. I have two folding lock back knives with custom leather sheaths as well as quite a few other blades. Thanks for stopping by for a chat! Cheers. Please NOTR: Damascus steel is high carbon and subject tp rusting in humid climates. Be sure to review recommendations for your area for tips to minimize rust accumulations in your area. These will be steps you d. Not have to take with most stainless steel blades.
