This auction is for a custom slate over glass call by award winning call maker Wendell Rye of Lights Out custom calls.  

This call is made of quarter-sawn canarywood and comes with a honey locust striker. The purrs and clucks are realistic and easy to run.  The cuts are crisp and bright.  The yelps break from a bit higher pitched first note into a raspy, medium-high pitched second note.  This call has a bright, sassy sound.

                                                                              

Condition this 3 1/2" surface with green scotchbrite.

For 20 years, I have turned each of my calls and strikers one at a time by hand,  without the use of patterns or duplicating devices.  Your satisfaction is my top priority.
