I am selling a used, highly desirable

Empire 208 Belt-Drive High-Precision Turntable with Empire 98 Tonearm on Original Plinth

This turntable has original tonearm and Audio Technica phono cartridge.

The turntable works fine. It picks up speed OK. I think the motor generates some low-level mechanical noise. I don't know if it needs some lube or what. The tonearm is good, with tight bearing. Not sure about the condition of the phono cartridge.

Overall good physical condition. There are some surface oxidation, including tonearm and headshell. That's common for vintage Empire turntables. Original plinth is structural sound.

The sale includes just the turntable on plinth as shown in pictures. No other parts or accessories. I don't have the tonearm cable to connect to a preamp either.

I ship worldwide.
