COMMENTS
Lovely Gem coin with very pleasing original mint luster. This piece is really nice with lovely overall and consistent tone of champagne amber-gold on both sides. This specimen carries sparkling original mint luster and was struck very well with excellent device elements. The coin is very clean and free any noticeable surface issues such as scratches, gouges, unsightly or dark toned areas, and even minor nicks. Even under 5x or higher magnification, this coin examines as being problem free with a really nice lustrous glow over super clean surfaces for the grade. This is one of those coins worthy of filling the void in a Registry Set and an affordable price not to mention a reconsideration for the potential undergrade!

About the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge Commemorative Half Dollar
The San Francisco–Oakland Bay Bridge half dollar or Bay Bridge half dollar is a commemorative fifty-cent piece struck by the United States Bureau of the Mint in 1936. One of many commemoratives issued that year, it was designed by Jacques Schnier and honors the opening of the Bay Bridge that November. One side of the coin depicts a grizzly bear, a symbol of California, and the other shows the San Francisco–Oakland Bay Bridge, with the Ferry Building in the foreground.
