This is a 19th century
mourning wear is a domed oval with a closed back gold frame. It features a
border of black enamel with inlaid gold flowers. This surround a piece of
convex glass with the plaited hair of a departed loved one. stock, cravat or
stick pin. It has a gold pin with a securing twist at midpoint. It is not
marked; tests confirm it as being 375 for its 9ct gold fineness. It comes in a
