Antique 1902 Dutch Silver Twist Form Brigantine War Ship Boat Serving Spoon

Presented is a wonderful quality, Dutch silver serving spoon made in 1902. This is a very decorative spoon, the handle is done in an openwork twist form and there are scrolls and flourishes surrounding a puti or cherub near the base. The top is done in a full figural form of a large ship. The ship is very detailed and looks like a large war or naval ship or a brigantine.

The spoon is marked with the lion passant guaranteeing a minimum of .833 purity silver, the Minerva head duty mark, a date letter S for the year 1902 and a maker's mark.

This piece is in excellent overall condition and the designs are crisp. There are no damages and no repairs.

The spoon measures 7 1/2 inches long.
