Fabulous vintage long chain pendant necklace from one of the great French designers GIVENCHY.
The necklace is made of thick multi-links chain gold plated with 18K yellow gold and with a long pendant with 4 different length chain tassels ending in pear-shaped faux stones. The top of the tasselled pendant is studded with faux cabochon stones and Svarowsky crystals.
The closure is a signature flat clasp in the shape of 2 stylized GGs, characteristic of Givenchy jewellery.
The chain is 26.77 in (68 cm) long and c. 0.30 in (0.75 cm) thick, and the tasselled pendant is 6.10 in (15.5.cm) long so the WHOLE NECKLACE is 83.5 cm (32.87 in) long.
The necklace is in EXCELLENT vintage condition.
It would make a wonderful gift for any fan of this great name in costume jewellery.
