This is an absolutely beautiful Edwardian opal and garnet ring with a full set of hallmarks for 9ct gold Chester assay office and dated to 1904.

The colour of the gold is more rose than yellow it has that warm hue, see photos.

It is in absolutely beautiful condition it's obviously not been worn and enjoyed in its 120 year history. I've never had a ring this old and in this condition.

The shoulders have a really nice design which adds to its charm.

There are no scratches to the opals and the 2 round garnets are unusually a purple red colour.

Fabulous set of hallmarks I have added lots of photos.

The makers stamp is A & B.

It's a size P

The date letter is D which would date it to 1904.

It weighs 2.18g

It has been to my jeweller and been throughly cleaned and polished. The stones have been verified as natural guaranteed.
