Sally Ann Triplett, born on April 15, 1962 in London, England, is an acclaimed British actress, known for her versatile performances particularly in the West End stage. She began her career in TV, featuring on the BBC1 talent show 'A Song For Europe' in 1980, and subsequently represented the UK at the Eurovision Song Contest twice, in 1980 and 1982, which was an impressive achievement.


Venturing into theatre, Triplett marked her West End debut with "Follies" in 1987, and soon after, she showcased her acting prowess in multiple stage productions. Some of her notable performances include her role as Donna Sheridan in "Mamma Mia!", and leading roles in "Chicago" and "Viva Forever!".


Her performance in the production of "Anything Goes" in 2003 earned her an Olivier Awards nomination, firmly establishing her as a power performer. In 2010, she made her Broadway debut in "The Last Ship", receiving wide acclaim.


Beyond theatre, Sally's credits include various TV shows, such as “Doctors”, “Down to Earth” and “Holby City”. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated her talents across genres and mediums, holding her status as a seasoned entertainer in the entertainment industry.
