A Newlyn style copper tray. This oval shaped tray has crimped edges and the typical arts nouveau border design works well within the framework. The centre of the tray has planished, or punched, design work. It is well made, from a heavy gauge of copper, and it dates from c.1920. Really nice patina as only lightly cleaned but will polish up great with a bit of elbow grease if you prefer. Stamped Hand made on the back with a scribed 16/3 unsure what the 16/3 means. I have been told by a long time A&C collector that this tray is by the Eustace Brothers and very likely Charles Eustace and a well known design.

Dimensions: Length 57.6cm. Width 26.5cm. Depth 2.8cm. A nice large item which will look great just about anywhere.
