This is a collection of Nebraska Folklore Pamphlets from the 1930s. These mimeographed pamphlets were created by the Nebraska Writer's Project during the Great Depression. This project was initiated in 1935 under the auspices of the Works Progress Administration to provide a modest income for unemployed writers and other white-collar professionals.

The topics include everything from songs, tall tales, cattle brands, games, legends, stories, etc.

This collection consists of pamphlets #1 through 20 bound together in brown cardboard covers.
Pamphlet #29 is included loose.
