1940's Nancy Ann Storybook Doll #120 To Market, To Market, To buy a Fat Hen.  Little doll is in excellent condition.  Her dress is a knit red and white check with trim and ivory cotton bloomers. Her sweet face and shoes are handpainted and her brunette hair is wavy and curled beneath her red felt hat with red satin tie. Her original paper tag is on her wrist but appears to be just barely hanging on about ready to come off.  Hard to believe she is around 80 years old.  The signature safety pin closure back is just below her exposed back opening where Story Book Doll USA  is imprinted on her flesh toned bisque body. The original red polka dot and ivory cardboard box has the metallic paper label with her series name and number printed on it.  The box still contains the inside partition that helps to hold her in place.  As described in the condition section.  The red and white polka dot cardboard box lid has two corners repaired and a small tear taped on the side as well.  This doll was purchased with a large collection from an estate sale.  They appear to have been a collection, not purchased as toys.  I did not disturb the outfit.  Box measures approximately 6 1/4 inches x 2 inches x 4 1/4 inches. You are buying 1 Nancy Ann Story Book Doll and original box.  Please contact me if you need additional photos.  No refunds or returns.  Shipped with USPS Ground Advantage.
