This is a rare antique large oversized single hole tin candle mold from New England, circa 1800 to 1830s, or so. It is 19” long with a 1 3/16” diameter at the top, and the flange at top is 2 7/8” square. It is in excellent original condition with no damage and no repair, and doesn’t even have any dents in the tube. The color is a perfect old oxidized dark gray and it has great patina from age and use. Single hole candle molds are the rarest, but this oversized version is very rare to find. After about 1830, or so, the fluid lamps were invented and soon became the choice for lighting. These can still be used to make candles. It was found in New England. Shipping is $10.00 Priority mail. There is a 30 day money back inspection period, and email for more information. Thank you.
