A very good Early Coachmakers Tailed Circular Compass Plough Plane, Nice Condition (1483).

Nicely made, with an unusual brass trim along the top of the stem where the retaining screw seats. 

Condition wise, it's generally VGC, but there is a split on the trim where the iron exits the body (see photos) - this can be either glued or repaired. It shouldn't overly affect the stability, but there's a possibility it may cause some additional flex in use - it's a 'design fault' really as there's only a small shoulder where the fence stem exits on that side.
