Rear shock has been fully serviced through my local bike shop (sent away for service).

I basically swapped this out to build a hardtail using my original components.

This version has a Rockshox rear shock and Specialized’s brain control on the rear stay which can be left fully open or on various settings to stiffen the bike up.

I can say I used this much (left it fully open) as it has a clunky feel to it but it certainly plants the rear wheel for XC riding. The bike had relatively light use as I prefer enduro and road to MTB XC riding.

There is a cover for cable routing above the bottom bracket - which I didn’t use as I fitted a sram AXS groupset.

I should point out that there’s a small part (not sure what ) in the rear chain stay which I can’t fish out.
