You are invited to bid on a very decorative little British Studio Art Glass vase designed and signed by Nick Orsler titled Breathing Space. A super little item !
Condition: The vase is in very good used / pre-owned condition. The pontil mark on the base is a little uneven and rough to the the touch around the sides but I don't think there is any additional damage other than that caused by the removal of the finished piece when it was blown. This isn't however the sort of item I usually sell so please study the photos.
Backstamp: Inscribed into the base of the vase, although quite difficult to decipher are his name - Nick Orsler, the title of the vase - Breathing Space and the date 1986 (please see the photos).
The vase is @12.5 cms (just under @5 inches) tall and I estimate the parcel will weigh around 500gs when packed.
It may be boring but it is important information so please take the time to read the following.
Sometimes a small portion of the P&P quote is to cover my packing costs which usually includes lots of bubble wrap and biodegradable protective foam packing peanuts.Ebay unfortunately charge commission on these postage costs, which therefore, on occasions, will be added to the total P&P costs - particularly on heavier and therefore more expensive to post items.
For very large / heavy items I usually use Yodel couriers but for all other items I use Royal Mail as they are a LOT more reliable than there so called (cheaper) competitors. I try to offer FREE UK P&P on all my listings and for All Overseas postage I use Ebay's Global Shipping Program. Please base your feedback on the price you were charged compared to their actual quote for the postage (taking into account the 10% Ebay commission) & not simply because you felt the postage costs were high. I am not personally responsible for these prices / fees and do not intentionally overcharge on postage. If when I have posted the parcel I feel I have overcharged I will refund some of postage accordingly.
Please also note that the majority of the items I list are used / old and may therefore by their very nature show signs of use - including minor wear & tear and / or scuffs or marks. I will try to accurately describe all that I can see and the photos on the listing do form an important part of the item description. Please do not expect an item to be "as new" unless it is described as such. There are often additional photos available on request that I am happy to send to any email address provided.
