1940's Nancy Ann Story Book Doll #114 "Over the Hills to Grandma's House".    She has a pink long dress with white print and an ivory eyelet apron sewn into the dress.  She has on what appear to be linen bloomers.  Her face and shoes are handpainted on.  Her hair is very blonde and is wavy and curly.  She has a darker pink felt bonnet (hat) with ivory ribbon tied at her chin.  I did not attempt to clean this doll or disturb her clothing.  The back of her dress is closed with the signature safety pin closure and just above that her upper back is imprinted Story Book Doll USA into the bisque.  Her arms articulate and her legs are fixed.  Recommend caution when handling in particular the arms as they have the rubber band mechanism that at her age of around 80 years is very fragile. She does not have her original wrist tag.  You are buying a Nancy Ann doll with the original box that includes a cardboard partition piece that holds her in place.  The box measures approximately 6 1/4 inches x 4 1/4 inches x 2 inches.  You are buying a Nancy Ann doll and original box.
