John G. Begay piece made while working for Jon Bonnel at White Hogan Silver Shop. John's mark is a conjoined JB and the White Hogan Shop Mark is a 'hogan hut' with an open smoke hole roof. White Hogan was major center of mid-century modern Native design. During the 1980's Begay participated in the Heard Museum's Indian Market, then went on to work at White Hogan from 1986-2006. White Hogan closed in 2006.
