Rare Steuben Glass Fower Frog Quan Yen in Pomona Green.

Steuben Glass Works made this two- piece Flower Frog around  1930. Frederick Carder gave this shape number 7133 toward the end of his stay with the now Corning Glass Works.

Named” Quan Yen” the base and figurine were made in Pomona green art glass.  The figure has an unfinished peg which fits into the base. The rest of the base and figure are smooth polished glass without any chips breaks or cracks.

The figure is 8” long. The overall height is 9” when inserted in thebase. The base is 2.25” high and the upper row containing eight holes is 4”wide. The lower row is slightly smaller.  A one inch diameter hole in the middle  of the base provides a place to insert the figure to stand upright.

The last two pictures show the flower frog and base unattached. Both front and back of the figure and top and bottom of the base.
