1864 Cr.43 $2 The State of Mississippi note from Macon, MS.

This attractive note from the American Civil War features a Vignette of a large sailing vessel at the center, under the arched title. On the lower left is a detailed Vignette of a Sailor standing on deck. A vibrant "TWO" protector is printed in red/orange at the center. 

This note grades Extremely Fine with ink burn and a couple heavy folds on the right end. 

It measures ~ 6.5" x 2.75".
