Vintage, possibly antique Leapfrog carcass saw made in Sheffield by Spear & Jackson between 1910-1925.
The cast steel back has the Leapfrog and the Spear & Jackson logos stamped into it, although the Leapfrog logo is worn.
In very good pre-owned condition. There is some minor pitting on the blade. The blade, which will require sharpening is 12" long and has 14TPI.
The original lambs tongue handle is in excellent condition with no breaks or repairs. Has great patina from decades of use.
