Original and complete WW1 British brodie helmet. This particular example is the Mk1 with the June 1917 liner, as it has the additional rubber ring in the crown. It retains most of the original khaki paint finish. The maker stamp on the rim is HH and what appears to be batch number 98. This is the mark of Harrison Brothers & Howson Ltd, Sheffield, who produced helmets from 1915-1918. On the underside of the liner is a red ink Brodie patent stamp.

The helmet shows age related wear and tear and the felt pad is worn in places but overall in good order and displays nicely.
