The Pink Floyd, before their breakthru with Dark Side of the Moon, play live (without an audience) in the ruins of Pompeii in Italy. Filmed in Oct 1971. Songs include Echoes, Careful with that axe, Saucerful of secrets, One of these days, Set the controls and also we get a guest appearance of Rick Wright's dog on vocals. But sadly no "Bike".
This is the 1974 theatrical reissue version with some studio footage of the band recording DSOTM at Abbey Road.
The first 2 or 3 mins are black with heartbeats on the track, designed to get the cinema audience in the mood.
