This early to middle 1900's figure is carved from hard dense wood like rosewood with rich grain and has lovely soft polished surface from LOTS of handling.  Measuring 15 1/2" tall (11 1/4" to top of head) x 3 3/4" x 2 3/4" overall, he raises his hand palm outwards in a sign of blessing.  Most unusually, he has an integral loop on the top of his heas with a carved link that moves freely.  You will note a gluse repair to the base across one foot.  He is dusty and needs a gentle cleaning and polishing.
