Great colors. Found at Mazon Creek. Each half has long ago repairs. Solid repair.

I was told many of my fern fossils were collected in the 1920s with a Model T automobile. Picnics in Grundy County. I hear very difficult to find in this size and variety today. Been in storage almost 100 years! From a long-ago collection. Any sign of coating was applied multiple decades ago. Not be me. Patina surface on for decades. Some have told me an egg yolk wash!
