Genuine vintage item with signs of age use and wear.

Some light surface rust and light corrosion.

Very sturdy little box strongly constructed with rivets and full length hinge. Aluminium lid and removable trays with mild steel body.

Useful for carrying small tools or component parts or for storing small items

I have had this box for a long time but know nothing about it's origin. It has been suggested that it was originally for military or transport use?
