Naim's Mu-so Qb 1st Generation, the successor to the Qb, is part of the award-winning Mu-so wireless music system family. It's been re-engineered from the ground up to create the brand's most high-performing compact wireless music system. Combining their 45 years of Hi-Fi expertise with the latest technology, extensive software and hardware upgrades deliver a significantly enhanced performance, whilst the design has evolved to perfectly match its larger sibling, the Mu-so 1st Generation.

Mu-so Qb 1st Generation has serious British Hi-Fi credentials. At its heart is Naim’s music-streaming platform, developed by 25 engineers over 3 years for superior performance, whether playing your own digital collection, a world of internet radio, or streaming services like Spotify and TIDAL (subscriptions may apply). 300 watts of music power unite with improved speaker drivers, more powerful processing for greater accuracy, and a re-engineered cabinet design that further enhances bass performance.

Connect it to your home network via Ethernet or Wi-Fi to open up a world of music. Stream music in high-resolution via UPnP, or browse millions of songs through Airplay (including Apple Music), Spotify Connect, TIDAL and internet radio. Connect smart devices by Bluetooth, or play music from USB drives by plugging into the USB input.
Multiroom-ready
Powerful enough to fill the room, its relatively compact size also makes it a superb option for spaces such as kitchens and bedrooms. A few simple taps of the Naim app (available on iOS and Android devices),and it can easily join a multiroom set up with the larger Mu-so 1st Generation, other Naim networked products, or Apple AirPlay -compatible wireless speakers.

Easily access key playback controls, your favourite playlists and radio stations, Spotify Resume, multiroom functionality and more from this tactile and intuitive interface.The system has a burnished grey aluminium casing, fronted by a styled speaker grille, which is supplied in black.

Mu-so Qb 1st Generation’s multicore Digital Signal Processor (DSP) drives higher performance and significantly improved sound improvements, providing 2000 MIPS (Million Instructions Per Second) compared to original Mu-so single-core, 150MIPS DSP.

Mu-so Qb 1st Generation features significantly superior Wi-Fi capability compared to its predecessors; five times faster and much more stable for a seamless connection. The Wi-Fi processor supports 2.4 and 5 gig speeds and is state-of-the-art.
Multiroom
Mu-so Qb 1st Generation works brilliantly on its own or as part of a multiroom music set-up. There are three easy ways to make it multiroom:
1. Combine it with other networked Naim products (including 1st Generation Mu-so and
Mu-so Qb) via the updated Naim app
2. Pair it with other AirPlay -compatible wireless speakers via the Apple Home app
3. Pair it with other Chromecast devices via groups controlled by the Google Home app.
