One of the great albums that guitar maestro ALLAN HOLDSWORTH released under his own name, SAND came out in 1987 in the US on the Relativity label and in Europe on Enigma Records. Never directly released in the UK on vinyl, this version came out in the Netherlands on the Intima label, a subsiduary of Enigma. 

Featuring both of Holdsworth's amazing regular drummers Gary Husband and Chad Wackerman, as well as frequent band members Jimmy Johnson and Alan Pasqua, Sand continued to strengthen Holdsworth's reputation as a unique talent, sadly primarily recognised only within professional musician circles. Now since his death, he has become more fully appreciated for the musical genius he unquestionably was!

This LP is from my personal collection and both the vinyl and sleeve are in near mint (NM) condition.  Photos are of the actual LP, not 'stock' photos - please note the original 'Our Price' sticker.
