1852 $3 The Piscataqua Exchange Bank note from Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

This bank operated from 1844 until 1863 when it became the First National Bank of Portsmouth. 

Previously, the bank was just the Piscataqua Bank. 

This note features a Vignette of a ship building scene above the bank title. On the left, a Sailor is printed between denomination counters and a farmer sharpens a scythe on the right. 

This note is PMG Graded Choice About Uncirculated 55 with "Stains" noted.
