Beautifull 4/4 Maggini style violin. It is unbranded, but there is a repairer's ink stamp visible through the f hole: H.F. Krahn, Kewaner, IL 1944. I do not know the maker or provenance of the violin, but it is most likely a German or French copy of Maggini with the typical double purfling.  It is clearly very old; it was only restored in 1944, most like made in the mid 1800s.  The workmanship is excellent throughout. It is fully lined and blocked. The violin has been fully restored professionally. There some old repairs on the top deck; they are completely solid. The sound is rich and with excellent projection. The violin is in great ready to play condition. Dimensions are:  overall 23", body 14" and width". The listing is only for the violin; no case or bow. Returns accepted; buyer pays return shipping.
