This is a rare WW2 48-star flag used by the US Navy during World War II. The flag was manufactured in the United States and is an original piece from the period. It features the Mare Island designation and is a great addition to any militaria collection. The flag is in excellent shape and is sure to impress any history enthusiast.

I purchased this at a living estate sale from an individual who on several submarines during WWII.

Flag measures approx. 31 3/4 x 16 3/4 inches.  There are some small stains on the flag please see photos for condition.
