Reserve Bank of Rhodesia 5 Pounds 1966

Rhodesia Reserve Bank of Rhodesia 5 Pounds 1.7.1966 Pick 29a 
During the mid-1960s, Rhodesia declared its independence from Great Britain, partially in order to maintain their own affairs without supervision from abroad. However, during that time, a new batch of banknotes were being printed, and ultimately, they could not be delivered to Rhodesia due to international blockades. As such, Fidelity Printers in Salisbury opened within the Reserve Bank of Rhodesia, and banknotes were printed. This handsome 1966 5 Pounds is the highest denomination of the first series printed in Rhodesia. Interestingly, it is much scarcer than the previous variety, dated 1964, printed by Bradbury, Wilkinson & Company. Worthy of serious consideration, especially at this grade.

Reproduction of a High value note. An authentic note that this note replicates sold for 1000's GBP and was in way worse condition. This note is unattainable for most but this reproduction is the next best thing available which is perfect to display in your home or add to your binder etc.

All of these notes go under digital restoration of some kind. Some go under major restoration. Some notes are also built from seperate proofs, That makes these repros the only way to receive these notes on one single sheet. All this makes these reproductions even more special.

I HAVE WORKED IN THE GRAPHIC DESIGN INDUSTRY IN THE PAST AND SO HAVE USED THESE SKILLS TO RECREATE THESE BANKNOTE TEMPLATES TO THE HIGHEST POSSIBLE STANDARDS AVAILABLE.

I USE A HIGH QUALITY PRINTER/INK THAT I FORTUNATELY STILL HOLD FROM WHEN I WAS IN THE GRAPHIC DESIGN INDUSTRY THAT I HAVE NOW ADAPTED FOR THIS PURPOSE.

I HAVE ACCESS TO MULTIPLE DATABASES ACROSS THE WEB AND HAVE HIGH QUALITY SCANS OF A LOT OF THESE BANKNOTES MYSELF BUT PLEASE BE AWARE THAT I ALWAYS FIND THE BEST PHOTO/SCAN AVAILABLE TO ME AND SOME OF THESE NOTES ARE SO RARE THAT NOT ALL WILL HAVE PERFECT HIGH RESOLUTION SCANS AVAILABLE.

I HAVE USED MY GRAPHIC DESIGN SKILLS TO BUILD SOME OF THESE NOTES FROM SCRATCH. SOME OF THESE BANKNOTES WE KNOW EXIST BUT THERE ARE NO PHOTOS/SCANS LEFT, SO I HAVE BUILT THEM FROM WHAT IS AVAILABLE E.G. SPECIMENS, SIMILAR BANKNOTES AND OTHER DENOMINATIONS.

I TOUCH UP ALL OF THE NOTES TO THE BEST OF MY ABILITY WITH THE RESOURCES AVAILABLE TO ME. BY TRYING TO BRIGHTEN THEM UP, HIGHLIGHT THE COLOURS AND REMOVE ALL THE RIPS AND TEARS

PLEASE BE AWARE WHEN I SAY UNC I MEAN THESE NOTES ARE NOT CIRCULATED AS SUCH BUT SOME OF THESE NOTES, THE ONLY SCAN/PHOTOS IN EXISTENCE ARE CIRCULATED SO THE SCANS/PHOTOS WILL OBVIOUSLY REFLECT THIS.
